Junior Tax Accountant

Job description:

We are a quickly growing firm that needs a junior tax accountant for permanent hire. The role includes:

--Completing individual tax returns of basic to moderate complexity
--Communication with the client for missing items
--Filing of tax returns
--Assistance with any state or federal tax-related matters

We expect the person to have some basic experience filing taxes and working independently. Preferably, you should have some experience with Schedule C, Schedule D, Schedule E, Schedule A, etc. It is a bonus if you have the following:

--Degree or license in accounting
--Bookkeeping skills
--Financial statement audit skills
--IRS/state experience
--Ability to learn new software quickly - we encourage employees to quickly Google any questions and learn independently
